1. Using a Steam Iron
Steam iron is the best method to remove wrinkles from most fabrics.
However, using an iron on a projector screen is a double-edged sword, as it can damage the screen if not done correctly.
Hence, you must follow a few steps to iron your projector screen correctly and without damage.
- Use the correct iron: Steam irons are ideal for removing projector screen wrinkles. However, using a dry iron (one with a flat base and without any holes) is not ideal and can cause irreversible damage.
- Set the correct heat setting on your iron: Most projector screens are made with polyester material. Confirm the exact material mix of your projector screen. Suppose you cannot determine the correct fabric material. In that case, keep your iron in the lowest heat setting to prevent damage.
