To connect your BenQ projector to WiFi, navigate to Settings > Internet > Wireless Network Settings and turn on the projector’s WiFi. Later, tap on your WiFi router name from a list of WiFi devices, enter the password, and voila, you’ve connected your BenQ projector to WiFi.
BenQ projectors don’t come with built-in WiFi and Bluetooth. BenQ smart projectors are supplied with a wireless dongle.
Thus, to connect your BenQ projector to WiFi, you’ll need the dongle that comes with your BenQ projector.
How to Connect BenQ Projector to WiFi (Non-Android projector)
Step 1: Start the projector & connect the BenQ wireless dongle
Start your BenQ projector and let it go through its warm-up process.
Make sure you’ve connected the BenQ wireless dongle to your BenQ projector.

You can buy a new one online if you’ve lost or misplaced the dongle.
Step 2: Open Settings
Within the BenQ Launcher, go to the settings page.

The settings option is denoted as a ‘gear’ icon towards the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: Select ‘Internet’ settings
Within the setting menu, look for the ‘Internet’ option.

In most cases, it will be the first option. Once you find it, select the ‘Internet’ icon.
Step 4: Turn on the WiFi
Within the Internet settings, you’ll see a toggle next to ‘Wireless Network Settings.’

Select the toggle button to initiate a WiFi connection.
Step 5: Select your WiFi router
Scroll down till you find a list of wireless devices. Select your WiFi router, enter your WiFi password, and now you’ve successfully connected your BenQ projector to the WiFi.

Now, if you have a BenQ projector with Android TV, the process of connecting the projector to your WiFi is slightly different.
How to Connect BenQ projector to WiFi (Android TV)
If your BenQ projector is marketed as an Android TV projector, the Android TV functionality isn’t built-in.
The projector will be supplied with a QS01 or QS02 dongle. It’s similar to a streaming media player and has a built-in Android TV and other smart features.

Suppose your BenQ projector is supplied with an Android TV dongle. In that case, you’ll have to connect your projector to the WiFi during the initial setup itself. And that’s what we’ll do.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to connect an Android BenQ projector to WiFi:
Step 1: Start the projector and connect the BenQ Android TV dongle
Start your projector and let it go through its warm-up process. Next, connect the BenQ dongle to your projector.
BenQ projectors that come with QS01 or QS02 dongle have a dedicated slot within the projector, which completely hides the dongle.

Check your projector’s user manual on how and where to install the Android TV dongle.
Step 2: Pair the remote control with your BenQ projector
After connecting the dongle to the designated HDMI port and starting your projector, check for the on-screen instructions.

In most cases, you’ll be asked to press the ‘OK’ button on your remote control for 3 or 5 seconds to pair your remote control to the projector.
You’ll see a green check mark once the remote is successfully paired.
Step 3: Select your WiFi network
Later, you’ll have to select a few options before you reach the WiFi network page.
On the ‘Select your WiFi network’ page, you’ll see a list of nearby WiFi devices.

Select your WiFi router and enter the password correctly once you see the ‘Connected successfully to internet’ prompt.
