First Impression & Design
After unboxing the package, the first impression of BenQ MH733 is quite good. It is shiny white with a small speaker grille on the front; adjacent to the projector lens.
The projector has curved edges from all sides, which makes it a little easy to grip. However, it weighs around 5.51 pounds, so it may feel a bit heavy upon holding for the first time, but you’ll get used to it.

You can either use it on a table and use feet adjusters to maintain a particular height or mount it on a ceiling. There are ceiling mount holes behind to make mounting easier.
On the backside of the projector, various ports make it easier to connect with multiple types of devices. You get connectivity options like:
- HDMI
- audio in/out
- USB type A
- VGA ports
- RS-232 port
- USB mini-B
With so many connectivity options, you can connect this projector to a plethora of devices like computer, laptop, MacBook, iPad, iPhone, Smartphone and more.

BenQ MH733 is the improvised model of its previous versions that are MW732 and MX731. The MH733 is better in every aspect but comes with a 10W speaker, similar to its previous models.
To keep the temperature in check, two vents, one on the front and one on the side, release the hot air generated inside the projector.
Built Quality & Performance
The next big question which comes to mind is the built quality. Will this projector last long or give up in a couple of months?
While testing this projector, we did not face any design and built flaws. It is made of robust plastic, which is not easily breakable, so you shouldn’t worry much about this.

The next important thing to discuss in this BenQ MH733 review is its performance. As per our repeated tests, this projector outshines its previous models very well in picture quality and brightness.
It has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080p and can produce up to 120 inches projection size with a 1.3x zoom factor. BenQ MH773 uses a low-dispersion technology that produces a crisp and clear image, and lowers the chromatic aberration.
If you need a projector for business or conducting lectures during the daytime, this is the one for you. You can easily attach it to the ceiling and control it via remote or wirelessly through the QCast APP.

The wireless projections are seamless and glitch-proof, so there’s no need to worry about anything as long as you have a stable and working internet connection. But if you don’t trust wireless technology, use the LAN port for direct connection with the router.
You can start screening your presentation as soon as you turn on the projector; there’s no need to wait for the projector to warm up. Moreover, you can place it anywhere on the table and adjust the height with the help of three adjuster feet.
Important Features & Functions
We have listed some key features of BenQ MH733 in this review that you should know to get the best idea about this projector:
1. Keystone Adjustments
BenQ MH733 has 2D Keystone Correction, Auto Vertical Keystone, and Corner Fit Correction feature that helps the projector produce a perfect rectangle projection. This feature helps when it is not possible to keep the projector in the center of the projection screen.
Although, we would suggest you find a better spot for the projector by placing it on a table right in front of the screen, as keystone adjustments can hamper the picture quality.
2. Anti-dust sensor
The projector lens is not thoroughly dust resistant. Still, it can minimize dust accumulation, reduce maintenance costs, and save you a lot of time.
3. Smart Eco mode
The smart eco mode of the BenQ MH733 claims to consume 70% less energy, therefore, increasing the lamp’s life by up to 10,000 hours. Furthermore, the lens is placed inside so that changing it will not be a big issue.
4. Remote control
The BenQ MH733 comes with a full-featured remote that controls the projector without reaching out to it. The QCast app can even manage the ongoing projections for you.
